Terms of Use
The access to and use of the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform is subject to compliance with the Terms of Use.

History of versions of Terms of Use:

• 29/03/2023: In this version, an annex regarding the Response Time Requirements for Data Providers was added, and the Terms of Use provisions have been renumbered and restructured to improve the clarity of the document, applicable as of 01 November 2023.
• 08/11/2018: This is the initial version of the Terms of Use.
   

Open Data
Pursuant to clause 2.5 of the Terms of Use, ENTSO-E publishes the list of data which is open for free re-use with no need to seek the prior agreement of the respective Primary Owner of Data. 

History of versions of the list of data:

• 18/10/2023: In this version, the data from Georgia (GE) was removed from the exceptions to the list of data.
• 18/02/2022: In this version, the following was added:
  • incorporation of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY 4.0) on the list of data, and;
  • addition of Data from Georgia (GE) under the exceptions from the list of data.
• 30/10/2020: In this version, new data items were added for free re-use:
  • data items from the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/2195 of 23 November 2017 establishing a guideline on electricity balancing (‘Electricity Balancing Regulation’), and
  • data items from the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/1485 of 2 August 2017 establishing a guideline on electricity transmission system operation (‘System Operation Regulation’).
• 28/10/2019: In this version, new data items were added for free re-use:
  • scheduled day-ahead commercial exchanges (Article 12.1.f),
  • cross-zonal capacities allocated between bidding zones in Member States and third countries (Article 12.1.h),
  • North Macedonia and Ukraine data,
  • BritNed (interconnector between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom) data were opened for free re-use.
  • 07/01/2019:. This is the initial version of the list of data.
